Brahma "Tree of Heaven" coin (เหรียญอัศวัตถะ, Rian Asawattha), made around B.E. 2534–2535 (1991–1992) in brass. The front shows Phra Phrom, the Four-Faced Brahma (ท้าวมหาพรหมธาดา), seated on a lotus throne with eight arms holding his emblems beneath a burst of rays; the back shows a standing goddess holding a stringed instrument, flanked by a tiger and a rearing cobra, with "เหรียญอัศวัตถะ" along the lower rim. Thirty-plus years have given the brass a soft old-gold tone, with crisp relief and lettering. The supplier refers to it as the "Wa Dang (瓦当) second batch" Brahma. Certified by the Thai Buddha Image Admiration Association, formal card No. CO01419 with a QR code. One piece only; it is held by a partner supplier, so please submit a request and we confirm availability by email within 24 hours.
What is the Brahma Tree of Heaven coin (Rian Than Thao Maha Phrom Thada, Rian Asawattha)?
Phra Phrom (พระพรหม), the Four-Faced Brahma, honoured in Thailand as "ท้าวมหาพรหม", is the deity most visited by Bangkok's Chinese community and by travellers, known for answering prayers and guarding all four directions. "อัศวัตถะ" (Asawattha) comes from the Sanskrit Ashvattha, the sacred fig and the "tree of heaven" of Indian myth, which gives this batch its name.
According to the Thai Buddha Image Admiration Association certificate, the batch dates to around B.E. 2534–2535 and is registered to "สถานค้นคว้าสัจธรรมปุรุโษตตมะ" in Samut Prakan. The supplier calls it the "Wa Dang (瓦当) second batch" Brahma; this page follows the certificate.

FAQ
Q: Why does the certificate not name "Wa Dang"?
A: "Wa Dang" (瓦当) is how the supplier and some Chinese-speaking collectors refer to this Brahma batch. The Thai Buddha Image Admiration Association formal certificate registers it to "สถานค้นคว้าสัจธรรมปุรุโษตตมะ" in Samut Prakan, and this page follows the certificate.
Q: How can I check the certificate?
A: The card reads "เหรียญท่านท้าวมหาพรหมธาดา (เหรียญอัศวัตถะ) เนื้อทองเหลือง ประมาณพ.ศ. 2534 - 2535", No. CO01419. Scan the QR code on the card to check it in the association's system.
Q: How do I honour a Brahma amulet?
A: Wear it, or keep it in a high place at home. Brahma is traditionally offered flowers (yellow or red), clean water and incense; if a wish is granted, remember to give thanks as promised.
Q: Who is it suited to?
A: People in business, anyone hoping for a smoother career, those seeking popularity or romance, and collectors of older Brahma coins.
Q: Why do I request first and pay later?
A: This piece is held by a partner supplier rather than in our Bangkok stock. So that nobody pays for a piece that has already gone, we confirm with the supplier first and reply by email within 24 hours. If it is available, the email includes a payment link valid for 24 hours. Submitting a request costs nothing.
