Luang Pho Kong Phong Phrai Kuman Khun Paen, first batch, listed by the supplier as B.E. 2514 (1971), more than a decade older than the commonly traded B.E. 2530 second batch. Khun Paen amulets of phong phrai kuman (ผงพรายกุมาร) powder are known for charm, attraction and protection from danger. Fifty years of natural patina cover the surface: the front shows the Buddha seated beneath a flame-edged arch, and the back carries an incised triangular yantra above a crouching tiger, with the powder body visible along the edges. According to the supplier, only about 200 standard pieces of this batch were made, and it comes with a Thai Buddha Image Admiration Association certificate, unbroken and unrepaired. One piece only; it is held by a partner supplier, so please submit a request and we confirm availability by email within 24 hours.
What is the Luang Pho Kong Phong Phrai Kuman Khun Paen first batch (Phra Khun Paen Phong Phrai Kuman Run Raek)?
Phra Khun Paen (พระขุนแผน) is named after Khun Paen, the handsome, brave and much-loved general of Thai folk legend, which is why Khun Paen amulets are worn above all for charm, popularity and attraction. Phong Phrai Kuman (ผงพรายกุมาร) is a traditional Thai sacred powder blended from many sacred ingredients and pressed in a mold, and it is one of the most sought-after materials for Khun Paen amulets.
According to the supplier, this is Luang Pho Kong's first-batch Phong Phrai Kuman Khun Paen, made in B.E. 2514. The supplier says the batch usually seen on the market is the B.E. 2530 second batch, while the first batch numbered only about 200 standard pieces and fewer than 30 special pieces, which is why it is rarely seen.
