Luang Pho Sot Phra Phong Khong Khwan, batch 3, deep mold (พระผงของขวัญหลวงพ่อสด รุ่น 3 พิมพ์ลึก), sacred powder, made at Wat Paknam, Bangkok, in B.E. 2499 (1956). This is one of the three batches made in Luang Pho Sot's own lifetime, far scarcer than batch 4 and later, and one of the prosperity amulets Thai business collectors value most. The deep mold gives strong relief: the Buddha sits beneath a pointed arch with layered horizontal rays, and the seventy-year-old powder has a natural warm patina. The Thai Buddha Image Admiration Association formal certificate names it "หลวงพ่อสด รุ่น 3 พิมพ์ลึก", barcode GJ10-894E8, searchable on the association's website; the supplier lists it as unrepaired and unbroken. One piece only; it is held by a partner supplier, so please submit a request and we confirm availability by email within 24 hours.
What is the Luang Pho Sot Phra Phong Khong Khwan batch 3, deep mold (พระผงของขวัญหลวงพ่อสด รุ่น 3 พิมพ์ลึก)?
Phra Phong Khong Khwan (พระผงของขวัญ, "gift powder amulet") is the signature amulet of Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen (วัดปากน้ำภาษีเจริญ) in Bangkok. Luang Pho Sot (หลวงพ่อสด จนฺทสโร) created it in B.E. 2493 as a gift for people who came to the temple to make merit.
The amulet is collected by batch. Batches 1 to 3 were made and blessed in Luang Pho Sot's lifetime; after he passed away in B.E. 2502, the temple carried on from batch 4. Batch 3 was issued in B.E. 2499, and collectors split it by the depth of the mold into deep (พิมพ์ลึก) and shallow versions; the deep mold has stronger relief. This piece is batch 3, deep mold.

Craftsmanship
A rectangular plaque. On the front the Buddha sits cross-legged on a tiered lotus base beneath a pointed arch, with deep, crisp horizontal rays on both sides, the mark of the deep mold. The back carries a deeply impressed hand-drawn style yantra. The powder is a warm tan with darker staining along the edges and recesses, the natural look of powder nearly seventy years old. The side views show a thick body with intact corners. It is in a clear waterproof case.
FAQ
Q: Did Luang Pho Sot bless batch 3 himself?
A: Yes. He passed away in B.E. 2502 and batch 3 was made in B.E. 2499, one of the three batches from his lifetime. Batch 4 onwards was made by the temple after his passing.
Q: What is the difference between deep and shallow mold?
A: Within the same batch, collectors distinguish versions by the depth of the mold. The deep mold (พิมพ์ลึก) shows the Buddha, arch and rays in stronger relief. This piece's certificate states deep mold.
