Luang Pho Sot Phra Phong Khong Khwan, batch 4 (พระผงของขวัญ รุ่น 4), square mold (พิมพ์สี่เหลี่ยม), sacred powder, made at Wat Paknam, Bangkok, in B.E. 2514 (1971). The Phra Phong Khong Khwan is Wat Paknam's most famous amulet for prosperity and protection, created by Luang Pho Sot in B.E. 2493; batch 4 was issued by the temple after his passing and carries the same tradition at a far more accessible price, which makes it an easy everyday wear. The front shows the Buddha seated under a pointed arch; the yantra on the back is clear. The formal certificate notes "ชำรุด" (damaged): the left edge has a loss, shown openly in the photos. Certified by the Thai Buddha Image Admiration Association, formal card No. P03462 with a QR code. Mounted in a gold case, listed by the supplier as 80% gold. One piece only; it is held by a partner supplier, so please submit a request and we confirm availability by email within 24 hours.
What is the Luang Pho Sot Phra Phong Khong Khwan batch 4 (พระผงของขวัญ วัดปากน้ำ รุ่น 4)?
Phra Phong Khong Khwan (พระผงของขวัญ, "gift powder amulet") is the signature amulet of Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen (วัดปากน้ำภาษีเจริญ) in Bangkok. Luang Pho Sot (หลวงพ่อสด จนฺทสโร) created it in B.E. 2493 as a gift for people who came to the temple to make merit, hence the name.
The amulet is collected by batch. Batches 1 to 3 were made in Luang Pho Sot's lifetime; he passed away in B.E. 2502, and batch 4 was issued by Wat Paknam in B.E. 2514. According to the supplier, batch 4 includes powder left over from earlier batches, which is why many collectors see it as an affordable alternative to the first three. This piece is the square mold (พิมพ์สี่เหลี่ยม) of batch 4.

A rectangular plaque in white sacred powder. On the front the Buddha sits cross-legged on a lotus base beneath a pointed arch with horizontal rays on both sides, the signature layout of the Phra Phong Khong Khwan. The back carries a hand-drawn style yantra. There is a loss on the left edge of the front, matching the "ชำรุด" note on the certificate; the powder shows natural age marks and a few spots. It is mounted in an engraved gold case with a bail.
FAQ
Q: What does "ชำรุด" on the certificate mean?
A: It means "damaged". The association judged the piece genuine and noted that it is not complete; the photos show the loss is on the left edge of the front and does not touch the Buddha figure. Please take this into account if condition matters to you.
Q: Did Luang Pho Sot bless batch 4 himself?
A: No. He passed away in B.E. 2502 and batch 4 was made in B.E. 2514 by Wat Paknam following his tradition. Batches 1 to 3 are the ones from his lifetime.
Q: How are the batch and year confirmed?
A: The Thai Buddha Image Admiration Association formal certificate reads "พระผงของขวัญ รุ่น 4 พิมพ์สี่เหลี่ยม เนื้อผง (ชำรุด) พ.ศ. 2514", temple "วัดปากน้ำ" (Bangkok), No. P03462, barcode GJ10-12C68.
Q: Who is it suited to?
A: Business owners and shopkeepers, anyone who wants steady customers and cash flow, and collectors starting a Phra Phong Khong Khwan collection on a smaller budget.
