The Luang Pu To debt-release Pidta (พระปิดตาหลวงปู่โต๊ะ รุ่นปลดหนี้, Run Plod Nee) from Wat Pradu Chimphli, Bangkok: the association's formal certificate names the batch outright, together with the triangle-yantra back mold, palm-leaf sacred powder and a date of about B.E. 2521-2523 (1978-1980). "Plod nee" means releasing debt, and in Thailand this is the best known of all Luang Pu To's Pidta. The near-black palm-leaf powder has a quiet depth, the covered-face figure is full and well formed, and the triangle yantra on the back is flecked with gold leaf. Already in a clear waterproof case, ready to wear. Certified by the Thai Buddha Image Admiration Association, formal card No. PM07004 with a QR code. One piece only; it is held by a partner supplier, so please submit a request and we confirm availability by email within 24 hours.
What is the Luang Pu To debt-release Pidta (Phra Pidta Luang Pu To Run Plod Nee)?
A Phra Pidta (พระปิดตา) shows the Buddha covering his face with his hands, a symbol of closing the senses and turning inward. In Thai tradition it is worn to guard and gather wealth and to avoid danger. Luang Pu To (หลวงปู่โต๊ะ) of Wat Pradu Chimphli (วัดประดู่ฉิมพลี), Bangkok, was a revered meditation master, and his Pidta and powder amulets are well known to Thai collectors.
"รุ่นปลดหนี้" (Run Plod Nee) translates as the debt-release batch. According to the supplier, it was blessed for about three years together with Luang Pu To's "Jumbo 2" batch and is one of his most representative Pidta. This piece is the triangle-yantra back mold (พิมพ์หลังยันต์ตรี) in palm-leaf powder (เนื้อผงใบลาน): sacred powder made mainly from the ash of burned palm-leaf scriptures.

Blessings

- Safety: avoiding danger and travelling safely
- Protection: warding off evil and negative energy
A story told about this batch: according to the supplier, soon after the first blessing a devotee whose business was struggling took one home, his business gradually recovered, and more and more people came to the temple for the batch, which is how its debt-release reputation spread. This is a story in circulation, not a promise of the same result.
Please note: an amulet supports your own efforts and intentions; it does not guarantee any outcome and is no substitute for financial planning or a repayment plan. Keeping the Five Precepts is traditionally encouraged.
Craftsmanship
A round-topped triangular plaque in near-black palm-leaf powder with fine golden specks in the surface. On the front the Buddha sits cross-legged with both hands over his face; the ears and fingers are clearly defined and the belly is full. The back carries a raised triangle yantra (ยันต์ตรี) with sacred syllables, Thai lettering cast along the edge, and scattered flecks of gold leaf. The sides show the layered texture of the powder and natural age. It is fitted in a clear waterproof case.
FAQ
Q: How do I know it is the debt-release batch?
A: The Thai Buddha Image Admiration Association formal certificate reads "พระปิดตาหลวงปู่โต๊ะ รุ่นปลดหนี้ พิมพ์หลังยันต์ตรี เนื้อผงใบลาน ประมาณ พ.ศ. 2521 - 2523": Luang Pu To Pidta, debt-release batch, triangle-yantra back, palm-leaf powder, about B.E. 2521-2523, from วัดประดู่ฉิมพลี, No. PM07004.
Q: What is palm-leaf powder?
A: Palm leaves (ใบลาน) were the traditional writing material for Thai Buddhist scriptures. Palm-leaf powder is made by burning inscribed leaves to ash and mixing the ash with other sacred materials before pressing; it is valued as carrying the power of the scriptures and is usually dark in colour.
Q: Can I wear a powder Pidta every day?
A: Yes, it is already in a waterproof case. Powder dislikes long soaking, so it is still best to take it off for bathing or swimming.
Q: Who is it suited to?
A: Business owners, anyone who wants to hold on to what they earn or is working towards clearing debts, frequent travellers, and collectors of Pidta from Bangkok's old temples.
Q: Why do I request first and pay later?
A: This piece is held by a partner supplier rather than in our Bangkok stock. So that nobody pays for a piece that has already gone, we confirm with the supplier first and reply by email within 24 hours. If it is available, the email includes a payment link valid for 24 hours. Submitting a request costs nothing.
