Phra Phuttha Chinnarat, "History Edition" large mould (พระพุทธชินราช รุ่นประวัติศาสตร์ พิมพ์ใหญ่), in sandblasted silver (เนื้อเงินพ่นทราย), issued in B.E. 2562 (2019) by the Thai Police Foundation (มูลนิธิเพื่อตำรวจไทย), Bangkok. It reproduces the Chinnarat Buddha of Phitsanulok, often called the most beautiful Buddha image in Thailand, as a fully modelled figure: the flame-shaped aureole, the twin naga, and the guardian figures at either side are cast in clear relief front and back, with polished highlights set against a matte sandblasted surface. The silver is confirmed on the certificate. Comes with a Thai Buddha Image Admiration Association formal certificate, No. R03498, with a QR code, and is fitted in a clear waterproof case. One piece only. It is held by a partner supplier, so please submit a request and we confirm availability by email within 24 hours.
What is the Thai Police Foundation B.E. 2562 Chinnarat?
The original Phra Phuttha Chinnarat (พระพุทธชินราช) sits in Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat in Phitsanulok, famous for its flame-shaped aureole and serene face, and Thais often call it the most beautiful Buddha image in the country. Chinnarat amulets are worn above all for success at work and overcoming obstacles. For the image's history and its main amulet versions, see our Phra Phuttha Chinnarat guide.
This piece was commissioned in B.E. 2562 by the Thai Police Foundation (มูลนิธิเพื่อตำรวจไทย). The certificate names the batch "รุ่นประวัติศาสตร์", the History Edition, in the large mould (พิมพ์ใหญ่) and sandblasted silver (เนื้อเงินพ่นทราย).

Craftsmanship and condition
A fully modelled Chinnarat in a clear arched case. On the front the Buddha sits in meditation with the right hand touching the earth, framed by the pointed flame aureole, with twin naga rising at either side, a small guardian figure at each corner of the base, and a diamond-shaped ornament at the front. The back is fully cast too, showing the Buddha's back, the aureole and the guardians, with a round emblem at the centre of the base and the Thai abbreviation "มตร." beneath it. The surface is matte sandblasted silver, with polished highlights on the robe lines and aureole edges.
FAQ
Q: How do I know it is the B.E. 2562 Police Foundation batch?
A: The Association formal certificate names it "พระพุทธชินราช รุ่นประวัติศาสตร์ พิมพ์ใหญ่ เนื้อเงินพ่นทราย พ.ศ. 2562", issuer มูลนิธิเพื่อตำรวจไทย, No. R03498. The QR code on the card verifies it.
Q: Is it solid silver?
A: The certificate records the material as silver (เนื้อเงิน) with a sandblasted finish. It does not state a fineness percentage.
Q: Will the silver tarnish?
A: Silver darkens slowly with air and sweat. The waterproof case slows this down. Do not polish the sandblasted surface with a silver cloth, or it will lose its matte finish.
Q: Why do I submit a request before paying?
A: This piece is held by a partner supplier rather than in our Bangkok stock. To avoid taking payment for a piece that has already sold, we confirm with the supplier first and reply by email within 24 hours, with a payment link valid for 24 hours if it is available. Submitting a request costs nothing.
