About Wat Phai Lom
Wat Phai Lom (วัดไผ่ล้อม) is located in Mueang Nakhon Pathom District, Nakhon Pathom Province, close to the great Phra Pathom Chedi, and is one of the province's renowned amulet temples. It gained fame through its master Luang Phor Poon (หลวงพ่อพูล), whose Kuman Thong, Hanuman, and Khun Paen sacred objects are celebrated across Thai amulet circles.
Luang Phor Poon and the Temple's Sacred Objects
Luang Phor Poon served as abbot of Wat Phai Lom from 1949 until his passing in 2005 (B.E. 2548), teaching for over half a century. A master of Kuman Thong (the "Sombat" wealth-child), Hanuman (the monkey deity), and Khun Paen, the objects he consecrated are renowned for wealth, charisma, and protection — classics of the Nakhon Pathom lineage.
Continuing the Lineage
After Luang Phor Poon's passing, his lineage was inherited by his disciple Luang Phor Namfon, who became the current abbot and continues Wat Phai Lom's casting and consecration traditions. Objects blessed at Wat Phai Lom carry the transmitted power of the Luang Phor Poon lineage and are treasured by devotees in Thailand and among overseas Chinese communities.
