Life of Luang Phor Ngern
Luang Phor Ngern (หลวงพ่อเงิน) was born in 1808 (B.E. 2351) in Bang Khlan, Phichit Province, and passed away on 20 September 1919 (B.E. 2462), said to have lived to about 111. He spent his life at Wat Bang Khlan (also known as Wat Hirunyaram) and is among Thailand's most celebrated wealth saints.

Luang Phor Ngern's Dharma name "Ngern" means "money / silver" in Thai — an ultimate symbol of wealth. He is famous for his cast "LoopLor" self-image figurines, prized by the Thai business community, believed to bring prosperity, thriving trade, and safety from danger.
