Life of Luang Phor Ruay

Luang Phor Ruay Pasadiko (หลวงพ่อรวย ปาสาทิโก) was born on 14 February 1922 (B.E. 2464) into a farming family in Ayutthaya Province, and passed away on 19 July 2017 (B.E. 2560) at the age of 95, after 75 years in the monkhood. He spent his life at Wat Tako and is one of contemporary Thailand's most sought-after wealth masters.

Luang Phor Ruay's Dharma name "Ruay" means "rich" in Thai, seen by devotees as an extremely auspicious symbol of wealth. Disciplined, compassionate, and humble, his wealth amulets are sought after by the Thai public and business community, renowned especially for wealth, fortune, and success.

The Legend of the Incorrupt Body

After his passing, his body was found not to have decayed when the coffin was opened, and is enshrined in the Mahathat Pasathiko pagoda at Wat Tako for devotees to venerate — a devotional legend of contemporary Thai Buddhism.
