What is the Luang Phor Ruay money-bag portrait amulet (Rian Khwan Thung Luang Phor Ruay Run Maha Lap 98)?
Luang Phor Ruay Pasadiko (หลวงพ่อรวย ปาสาทิโก) was the abbot of Wat Tako (วัดตะโก) in Ayutthaya and is revered in Thailand as a master of wealth blessings. "ขวัญถุง" (khwan thung) is the money bag Thai shopkeepers keep for luck, standing for money that comes in and stays in. This amulet takes the outline of a money bag with the master's image inside.
This is the "มหาลาภ 98" batch (maha lap means great fortune or great gain), issued by Wat Tako in B.E. 2562 in brass. Luang Phor Ruay passed away in B.E. 2560 (2017), so this batch was issued by the temple in his name after his passing.

FAQ
Q: How do I know the batch and material?

Q: Luang Phor Ruay had passed away by B.E. 2562. Is this still his amulet?
A: It was issued by Wat Tako in his name and with his image after his passing, and the association certifies it as genuine under that temple and batch. It is a different category from batches he blessed in person, which is reflected in the price, and suits anyone who wants an everyday Luang Phor Ruay piece.
Q: Is the case gold-plated silver?
A: The supplier states that it is; we have not tested the case separately. The association's certification covers the amulet itself (brass).
Q: Who is it suited to?
A: Business owners and salespeople, anyone wanting more goodwill and customers, and anyone drawn to the money-bag symbol of wealth.
