Luang Pu Tim Issarigo (หลวงปู่ทิม อิสริโก), lay name Tim Ngamsin, born on June 16, B.E. 2422 (1879 A.D.), native to Laharn Village, Ban Khai District, Rayong Province. Remarkable for his intelligence and devotion from youth, at age 17 he was arranged by his father to study Buddhist teachings under a high monk. At age 19, he formally received full ordination at Wat Thatkaow, receiving the Dharma name "อิสริโก", meaning "Self-Liberated One". After ordination, Luang Pu Tim engaged in intense forest meditation for three years, mastering both meditation and mystical arts. He studied successively under Ajahn Lod, Ajahn Lem, and Ajahn Sai, cultivating traditional Thai "Wijja" (วิชชา) secret practices, ultimately mastering the creation of sacred talismans and blessed objects. Returning to his homeland, Luang Pu Tim came back to Wat Laharn Rai (วัดละหารไร่), single-handedly shouldering the temple's restoration for decades, maintaining strict precepts and profound spiritual power that attracted followers from all directions. In B.E. 2517 (1974 A.D.), to celebrate Luang Pu Tim's 96th birthday and 69 years of monastic life, the temple specially cast the เจริญพรบน (Blessing Descending Above) commemorative amulet series, featuring the "Five-Direction Yantra" on the reverse and the master's compassionate seated meditation image on the front. This series became one of the most sought-after modern high monk personal amulets, with authentic pieces commanding prices from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of Thai Baht. The Nine Metal Alloy version (เนื้อนวโลหะ) represents the highest material specification of the เจริญพรบน series, with nine sacred metals fused according to ancient proportions, containing the deepest spiritual power and blessings. It has long been recognized by collectors as the supreme edition. In B.E. 2557 (2014 A.D.), the temple recast this classic design, formally blessed through elaborate consecration ceremonies, perpetuating its legendary spiritual lineage. On October 16, B.E. 2518 (1975 A.D.), Luang Pu Tim peacefully passed away at Wat Laharn Rai at age 96. His relics remain enshrined within the temple, continuously visited by devotees. To this day, sacred objects bearing Luang Pu Tim's name remain highly coveted by collectors worldwide, earning him the title "Premier Master of Modern Thai Sacred Amulets".
