Biography

Luang Phor Tim (หลวงพ่อทิม), ecclesiastical name Phra Khru Wisutthiwat Khana, was born in BE 2455 (1912 CE) in Rayong Province, Thailand, and passed away in BE 2518 (1975 CE) at age 63. He spent his entire monastic life at Wat Lahan Rai and is revered as one of Thailand's greatest monks, widely known as the "King of Metta" (loving-kindness magic).

Spiritual Mastery

Luang Phor Tim was the foremost master of Metta Mahaniyom — the art of loving-kindness and attraction magic. He is most celebrated for creating Phra Khun Paen amulets, which are considered among the most powerful charm amulets in Thai Buddhist history. Beyond Khun Paen, he also produced Phra Pidta, Phra Somdej, and various metal amulets, each consecrated through rigorous ceremonial rituals.

Sacred Legacy

His most famous creations are the Phra Khun Paen amulets, particularly the "Khun Paen on Horseback" and "Khun Paen Love God" series from BE 2515, universally ranked among Thailand's top five Khun Paen lineages. His Phra Pidta amulets are equally sought after and regarded as premier collector's items. Luang Phor Tim produced amulets in a remarkable variety of forms — powder-based, metallic, and oil-soaked — each with a unique consecration formula.

Historical Significance

Luang Phor Tim holds an exalted position in both Thai Buddhist clergy and the amulet collector community. After his passing, the value of his amulets has continued to rise dramatically, with select premium pieces commanding prices in the hundreds of thousands to millions of Thai Baht. He is posthumously honored as the "Father of Khun Paen," and his spiritual lineage continues to be practiced at Wat Lahan Rai today.
