A small-mold "Yu Ngoen Yu Thong" Khun Paen (พระขุนแผนอยู่เงินอยู่ทอง — "living in silver, living in gold") in sacred powder, issued in B.E. 2565 (2022) by Wat Laharn Rai, Rayong, to raise funds for casting the temple's giant Buddha, Phra Phuttha Suwan Phan Wichit. As the name says, this is a Khun Paen made for wealth. Mounted in an Italian gold case with a rhinestone frame, with Certificate of Authenticity P07766 (GJ09-D7B96). One piece only.
1. What is the Yu Ngoen Yu Thong Khun Paen?
Khun Paen is the hero of the Thai epic Khun Chang Khun Paen — a brilliant, charismatic general who won hearts wherever he went — and Khun Paen amulets are Thailand's go-to amulet for charm, popularity and good fortune. Wat Laharn Rai is the home of Luang Phor Tim, whose Khun Paen Phrai Kuman is known as the "King of Khun Paen."
"Yu Ngoen Yu Thong" is a Thai blessing for prosperity and the popular name of the temple's giant Buddha. In B.E. 2565, Wat Laharn Rai held a series of casting ceremonies for the 16-metre-wide Phra Phuttha Suwan Phan Wichit, presided over by the Governor of Rayong and attended by senior monks and crowds of devotees. This Khun Paen was issued to fund that project; its front adds guardian figures beside the Buddha for a richer design than the classic Khun Paen.

2. Wat Laharn Rai and Luang Phor Tim
Wat Laharn Rai was founded by Luang Phor Tim Issariko (หลวงปู่ทิม อิสริโก, 1879–1975), who lived to 96 with 69 years in robes, ate one meal a day and stayed vegetarian for nearly five decades. His Khun Paen Phrai Kuman is the most famous Khun Paen in Thailand. The temple continues his lineage, issuing Khun Paen and building the giant "Yu Ngoen Yu Thong" Buddha, now a landmark of Rayong.
3. Traditional blessings

- Merit — issued to fund the casting of a giant Buddha
Note: an amulet supports the wearer's own practice and is not a guarantee of results. Keeping the Five Precepts strengthens the connection.
4. Craftsmanship
The front shows the Buddha seated on a lotus beneath a pointed arch, flanked by guardian figures, with a reclining figure motif at the base — a richly layered design in golden-sheened sacred powder. The back is white sacred powder inscribed with yantra and the temple name. Small and refined, suitable for men and women. The Italian gold case has a sparkling rhinestone front frame and engraved back and sides, with bail — ready to wear.
