Life of Luang Phor Pae
Luang Phor Pae Khemangkaro (หลวงพ่อแพ เขมงฺกโร) was born on 1 January 1905 (B.E. 2448) and passed away on 10 February 1999 (B.E. 2542) at the age of 94. He spent his life at Wat Pikun Thong, served as ecclesiastical governor of Sing Buri, and was among modern Thailand's most revered masters of the Somdej amulet.
A Somdej Master
Luang Phor Pae was skilled in the casting and consecration of Somdej amulets (Phra Somdej); those he blessed are renowned for protection, wealth, and merit — upright in energy and auspicious in meaning — esteemed by devotees in Thailand and among overseas Chinese communities.
A Temple-Building Legacy
Devoted to charity, temple-building, and education, Luang Phor Pae developed Wat Pikun Thong from an ordinary village temple into a magnificent landmark. The Somdej and sacred objects transmitted through the temple remain classic choices for protection and wealth among Thai devotees.
