Life of Luang Phor Khun
Luang Phor Khun Parisuttho (หลวงพ่อคูณ ปริสุทฺโธ) was born in 1923 (B.E. 2466) in Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat) Province and passed away on 16 May 2015 (B.E. 2558) at the age of 92. One of contemporary Thailand's most beloved monks, he spent his life at Wat Ban Rai.
The People's Wealth Monk
Luang Phor Khun endeared himself to the public with his down-to-earth manner and his signature blessing given while squatting casually, earning the affectionate title "People's Wealth God." A lifelong philanthropist, he directed donations toward building schools, hospitals, and public works. His amulets are renowned for wealth, protection, and success, and hold immense prestige in Thailand and among overseas Chinese communities.
